The General Union of Chambers of Commerce said that the Jordanian agriculture ministry agreed to import potatoes from Egypt. The Jordanian ministry said that the potatoes should be cultivated in areas which are void of brown rot bacterial disease. The ministry will examine these areas to make sure that they are not infected with the disease.
