Agriculture Ministry has announced Yemen received a US$36 million grant from the Global Food Security Fund to implement the country\'s food security project.
Yemen received the grant based on a food security proposal it submitted to the fund, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Abdul Malak al-Thur.
The proposal was part of a global competition in which Yemen placed first among 20 countries that applied for such a grant, he added.
