Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,136.08 points marking an increase of 1.47 points today (Wed. 4 Jan. 2012) above the previous closing. This increase was due to the raise in the Commercial Banks Sector. Results indicated that 43 transactions took place with a volume of 809,977 shares worth BD 101,393. Investors traded mainly in the Services Sector represented 83% of the total value of shares traded.
