The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) rose 2.6 points upon closing on Monday settling at the level of 6,508.6 points. Volume of the traded shares amounted to 228.4 million, valued at KD 28.9 million, for 2,913 spot deals. Indices of four sectors rose. That of the services climbed 87.5 points, followed by the banking, 20.7 points, and the food sector, 8.5 points. Top loser was the sector of the non-Kuwaiti companies, shedding 60.7 points, followed by the industries, 14.6 points, then the insurance, 13.5 points.
