Head of the Egyptian Stock Exchange Mohamed Omran said the power outage that gripped Cairo Thursday morning will not affect the trading session because it has are alternative electricity-generating sources.
The trading session will not be suspended today, he told MENA.
However, the volume may be affected due to the problem.
The bourse has taken its precautions and has giant generators for use in such emergencies, he said.
