Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 168.02 points (+1.46%) when the bourse closed trading at 11,699.03 points Thursday with indices of all sectors advancing, except insurance which declined -0.69% (4,069.67 points).
The market capitalisation increased to QR 632.43 Billion today from QR 624.49 Billion registered Wednesday.
The traded value today increased to QR 338.23 Million with a volume of 7,926,104 shares from 4,467 transactions compared to QR 282.94 Million with a volume of 5,005,671 shares from 3,672 transactions on Wednesday.
Transport index gained the most, up +1.60% (2,434.48 points), telecoms gained +1.56% (1,315.97 points), industries +1.51% (3,895.48 points), banks and financial services +1.50% (3,169.52 points), real estate +0.77% (2,388.57 points), and consumer goods and services +0.54% (6,900.74 points).
QSE's Total Return index gained +1.46% (1,8179.38 points), QSE Al Rayan Islamic index +1.31% (4,304.68 points) and QSE All Share index +1.24% (3,130.24 points) today.
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 42 saw trading today. From these 36 advanced, five went down, and one remained unchanged.
