South Korean stocks started lower Wednesday led by losses in large-cap techs and shipbuilders.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) lost 2.92 points, or 0.14 percent, to 2,048.66 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
