US stocks rose Monday as a fresh climb in oil prices boosted shares of energy companies.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 88.55 points, or 0.5%, to 18329.04. The S&P 500 climbed 9.92 points, or 0.5%, to 2163.66. The Nasdaq Composite added 36.27 points, or 0.7%, to 5328.67.
