London - APS
The British seek to strengthen their presence in Algeria, that was the main message expressed Wednesday evening by the British heads of companies during a meeting organized by the Algerian-British Business Council for the annual assessment of the relations between the two countries. The meeting on the business opportunities in Algeria brought together important personalities, including Prime Minister’s Trade envoy Lord Marland, UK Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Economic Partnership with Algeria Lord Richard Risby and Algerian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Amar Abba. A large number of renowned business managers attended the conference. The different participants in this meeting highlighted the rapid development in the Algerian-British relations, particularly since the visit of British Prime Minister David Cameron to Algeria in January 2013. The Algerian-British cooperation has made a significant progress in one year, which reflects the willingness of the two governments to develop the cooperation in all fields.
