China\'s stocks drop nearly 1% Tuesday

China\'s stocks ended lower Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.91 percent to close at 2,679.26. The Shenzhen Component Index edged down 0.59 percent to finish at 11,932.04.
