Legal experts from eight countries are in Cuba to discuss the country\'s new regulations on the promotion of foreign direct investment and protection of investor rights. The forum attracted experts from Britain, Canada, Ecuador, Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain and the United States. Cuba is currently in the process of modernizing its socialist economic model. Foreign investment is a priority for Cuba\'s development in all economic sectors.
