The worldwide TV market is likely to rebound next year on the back of major world sports events, ending a two-year contraction, data showed Monday.
Global TV sales are likely to reach 232 million units next year, rising from this year's estimated 228 million units, according to the data by DisplaySearch.
The researcher said key sports events such as the Sochi Winter Olympics in February and the World Cup in Brazil in June-July will boost TV sales next year.
