Greek Ambassador to Egypt Chris Lazaris said that his country\'s investments in Egypt have increased to three billion dollars. Greece is the fifth biggest European investor in Egypt, Lazaris told a ceremony marking the Greek National Day in the consulate in Alexandria. Cooperation between the two countries was upgraded to the level of stratefgic cooperation, he said. At least 23 Greek companies pumped investments in Egypt recently, bringing up the number of Greek companies operating in the country to 173, he added.
