Malaysia\'s economic growth slowed to 4.3 per cent on continued weakness in the export sector, the government said Wednesday, according to DPA. Second-quarter growth was slower than the 5.4 economic expansion posted for the same period last year. \"While domestic demand in the Malaysian economy has remained strong, the overall growth performance is affected by the weak external sector,\" the central bank said. It blamed prolonged weakness in the global economy. \"The weak external sector in the first half of this year will affect our overall growth performance for the year,\" the bank said.
