Ministerial Council of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) approved the 2012 final accounts for the General Secretariat and the Judicial Body. OAPEC\'s Council ended its 90th meeting in Cairo on Monday. It was chaired by representative of Saudi Arabia in the Executive Office, Nasser Bin Ibrahim Al-Fawzan, OAPEC said in a statement issued on Tuesday. The Kingdom heads the current session of the Council. The Council members were briefed about preparations for the 10th Arab Energy Conference, to be held in Libya in October 2014. The Council viewed a report by the Secretariat activity, adopted recommendations of the Executive Office, including follow-up of the environment topic, climate change, annual program of seminars and meetings, in addition to meetings at the level of the Arab League as well as the functioning of the data bank. They were also briefed about economic and technical studies, prepared by the Secretariat, during the first half of the current year.
