Romania\'s economy grew by 0.7 percent in 2012, higher than the initial 0.3 percent estimated growth, official data showed Wednesday. The growth increase is due mainly to improvements in the industry and retail business, the INS said. For 2013, Romania targets economic growth of 1.6 percent. The Balkan country suffered a severe recession in 2009 and 2010 before recovering in 2011 thanks to a 20 billion-euro lifeline from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
