Internationally renowned economist Nouriel Roubini expressed worries Monday over the fast-aging population in South Korea and its growing fiscal burden for the government, the finance ministry here said. Roubini made the comments during his meeting with Finance Minister Hyun Oh-seok in Seoul, according to the ministry. He is known as "Dr. Doom" after forecasting the financial turmoil that began hitting the world economy in 2008.
