The Saudi-Egyptian committee for trade and industrial cooperation will meet in Riyadh during the period from April 22 to 24. The meeting will cover bilateral cooperation and ways of enhancing it and removing obstacles hampering the progress of trade and investment ties, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a statement on Wednesday. The committee will also tackle the Saudi investments in Egypt and facilities offered by Egypt for Saudi businessmen. The volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to 18 billion riyals last year and the committee talks will focus on how to double that figure in the coming years.
