South Korean companies are planning to increase their spending on facility expansion by 3.9 percent next year on expectations of an economic recovery, a survey showed on Sunday. A total of 3,064 firms, including 674 big companies, said they would spend a combined 136.2 trillion won (US$128 billion) next year, up 3.9 percent from this year's estimated 131.1 trillion won, according to the survey conducted by the Korea Finance Corp. (KoFC).
