Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) provided urgent humanitarian aid to nine African states suffering from severe draught and famine. International aid organizations in Africa carry out urgent food relief projects and establish technical cooperation to remediate draught and famine and TIKA also agreed on sending urgent aid in the month of Ramadan. Aid made up of food supplies was delivered to Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Djibouti, Sudan, Chad and Mali during the month of Ramadan.
