The Jordanian Tourism Board conducted two courses in Bethlehem and Nazareth in March to encourage Palestinians to holiday in Jordan.In Nazareth, travel agents were informed about Jordan\'s hotels, history and religious sites to encourage Palestinians in Israel to visit the country.In Bethlehem, Khaled al-Kilani, head of the JTB in Palestine, met travel agents from Beit Sahour, Beit Jala and Hebron and introduced them to Jordan\'s tourist sites, including Petra, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba.Al-Kilani said Palestinians received special treatment in Jordan, which he described as their second home.The board plans further courses to encourage tourism to Jordan, Kilani said, adding that Palestinian journalists would be invited to Jordan to visit its historical and religious sites, including the Aljun Castle, Jerash and Um Qais
