George Wassouf recovers from treatment in Beirut

Syrian singer George Wassouf has told Arabstoday he is fine and recovering in Beirut following physiotherapy in Sweden after suffering a stroke recently. He will return to the Scandinavian country to complete the treatment soon, he said. “I will return to the stage soon,” Wassouf reassured. The Syrian star thanked his fans for their support, claiming their concern for his health had been a “big motive” for his recovery. Wassouf’s next album is due to be released next summer, although he has refused to give any further details.
