Security forces detain supporter of ousted Islamist president
Egyptian police on Tuesday inspected the Cairo office of Turkish state TV news network TRT to ensure that the network's papers were in order.
Last month, TRT correspondent Metin Turan was detained while reporting a standoff between Egyptian demonstrators and security forces inside Al-Fath Mosque in central Cairo's Ramses Square.
He was among dozens of supporters of deposed President Mohamed Morsi who were trapped in the mosque during a day-long siege by security forces.
