People who talk too much also do not learn anything in the end. Practice the art of listening and you may be on your way to cracking a great job interview or making a life-long friend. Do not be afraid to laugh at yourself Let's face it . We're not perfect. But it definitely shows great character if you are able to laugh at your own faults. Make a joke about it and soon you'll find people warming up to you. Try to remember the person's name The best trick in the world is to use it repeatedly during your conversation with that person. It makes them feel special that you care enough to remember their names. You can also a step further and inquire after their family and pets (if any). Word of caution: avoid being too intrusive.
