Egyptian security foils attack on Suez Canal

Egyptian TV has quoted a source saying Egyptian security forces have prevented an attempt by two people to plant a bomb in the Suez Canal. Both persons were arrested under investigation. The state security prosecution started investigating the case on Thursday. The defendants have been charged with "instigation for terror assault against a public property". The two were arrested on a tip received by Egyptian security that revealed their plans to bomb the Suez Canal. The suspects have denied the charges, saying they were "just kidding".
