Four people were killed Monday in two suicide bomb attacks on police stations in Sokoto State, Nigeria, police said. The Assistant Inspectors General Office Zone 10 at the Marina police station in Sokoto was rocked by a car explosion that killed a police corporal and the suspected suicide bomber, the News Agency of Nigeria reported Monday. Police officer Muhtari Ibrahim said the alleged bomber drove a car into the police office, which exploded. The AIG reported that eight policemen and one civilian were injured. In a second attack in the area, a suspected suicide bomber who was denied entry to another police station drove his car into a building housing a Police Officers' Wives Association, killing himself and a hairdresser in the explosion, deputy police commissioner Kudu Nma said. The suspected bombers were not identified.
