ANDY MURRAY eased into the semi-finals of the Cincinnati Open. The Brit No 1 took a cautious approach to see off Gilles Simon 6-3 6-3 last night. Murray, 24, now faces Mardy Fish, who beat Rafa Nadal. The Scot struggled with his serve and his ground strokes at times. And the world No 4 said: "I have to play my game against him and it works very well. "I've seen players try to blast Gilles off court. You have to wait for the right moments."
