Michael Dixon's basket with 31 seconds left Monday atoned for an earlier error and handed No. 4 Missouri a 67-66 victory over Texas. Dixon's decisive left-handed shot from the lane came after his elbow to the face of J'Covan Brown had put the Tigers in a hole. The foul was ruled flagrant, which allowed Brown to convert a pair of free throws and then add a jumper for a 66-65 Texas lead with 56.9 seconds to go. Dixon went 9-of-10 from the field en route to 21 points while Ricardo Ratliffe and Phil Pressey chipped in with 13 each as the Tigers (20-2, 7-2 Big 12) won their second straight. Brown netted 20 points for Texas (13-9, 3-6). Julien Lewis chipped in with 12 points and Myck Kabongo added 10 for the Longhorns.
