A season-best 36 points by Marcus Thornton Friday lifted the Sacramento Kings to a dominating second half and a 120-95 win over Boston. The Kings ended a three-game slide and won for the 15th time this season. Boston dropped to 2-2 on a grueling 10-game road trip that extends through March 23. Sacramento had only a one-point halftime lead, but then poured in 68 points during the final two quarters. The Kings hit 53 percent from the field and made 19-of-21 from the foul line. Jason Thompson had 21 for the Kings and DeMarcus Cousins added 20. Ray Allen scored 26 for the Celtics, who remained 1 1/2 games behind Philadelphia for the lead in the Atlantic Division. Philadelphia lost at home to Miami Friday.
