Haitham Zaki confident of “The Treasure” success

Egyptian actor Haitham Ahmed Zaki expressed his pleasure for his participation in “The Treasure” film that has been presented during the current season of Eid Al-Adha days ago, saying that the major reason behind his decision to participate in the film is the presence of Director Sharif Arafa. He described Arafa as the great director who can lead great works.

He added, in an interview with “Al Maghrib Today” that the film discusses a large number of issues witnessed in Egypt through four consecutive decades, praising the role he performs in the film. He described his participation in the film as a turning point in his career as an actor. He added that the filming of the new film took a very long time, saying that he filmed his role during the latest months.

The Egyptian actor stressed that he was extremely preoccupied in the filming of his role, saying the his participation in the new film was the main reason for his absence from the latest drama season of Ramadan. He added that he received a large number of offers to participate in the latest drama season, while he refused all of them to film his role in the film.

He revealed that he will intensify his artistic activities during the coming period, saying that he received a number of offers to participate in new dramatic and cinematic works, saying that he currently works to consider them decide whether to participate in any of them or not.

He hailed the participation of a large number of Arab superstars in the new film, saying that those stars will produce professional work under the leadership of a professional Director like Sharif Arafa. He expressed his confident that the new film will achieve high popularity among the fans not only in Egypt but also in all over the Arab world.

He added that he does not give priority to the idea of competition with other artists, stressing the need for choosing his roles carefully to meet the expectations of his fans. He added that he does not participate in any work for such presence, while he always gives the priority to the quality of the work he presents.

To achieve this objective, the actor said, he is keen to deal with great directors since the beginning of his career. He revealed that he will participate in a new drama work during the coming season of Ramadan, saying that he prepares currently to start the filming process.
