Germany plans to participate with up to 330 soldiers to crisis management in the West African nation of Mali. German media said that the issue will be discussed by Germany’s parliament (Bundestag), and is expected to be approved by the Cabinet this Tuesday. For the planned EU Training Mission, Germany wants to deploy up to 180 soldiers. 150 more soldiers for the use of transport and tanker aircraft.
