Ansar Dine, an Islamist group occupying northern Mali, on Tuesday urged Bamako and the other armed movements to engage in a political dialogue, following talks with the chief regional mediator, Burkina Faso President Blaise Compaore. The Ansar Dine delegation pledged also to \"observe a total halt to hostilities\" and urged \"all the armed movements\" to imitate it with the aim of establishing \"an inclusive political dialogue.\"
