The public prosecution in Sharqiya ordered Saturday to extend the detention of four people for 14 days pending investigations over the collapse of a building in the city of Minya El Qamh.

Nine bodies, including seven children and two ladies, were pulled from rubble of the six-storey building which collapsed on Wednesday, while three others were injured.

An arrest warrant was issued against the contractor who is responsible for the collapse.
