East Tanta prosecution remanded on Saturday nine members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group in custody for additional 15 days pending investigations.

Earlier, security forces in Gharbiya governorate, in coordination with National Security officers, arrested the defendants over inciting violence and rioting charges.

The MB group was designed a terrorist organization in December 2013. It has been blamed for a series of terrorist attacks across the country.
