The meeting takes up measures to fight terrorism and preparations for the Egyptian Economic Development Conference (EEDC) due to take place in Sharm el Sheikh on March 13-15.
Efforts to secure basic needs of citizens are also to figure high at the talks.
A report on Egypt's foreign policy and its participation in a meeting of Arab interior ministers in Algeria is also on the agenda.
The ministers are to discuss action to lure more foreign investments following the endorsement of a number of new economic and investment laws.
They also tackle efforts to amend a number of laws on parliamentary elections.
