Arish - MENA
The Rafah border terminal with Gaza has remained open for the fourth day in a row to allow stranded Palestinians to cross to either side of the terminal.
The Egyptian authorities have agreed to re-open the crossing to also allow aid into the Gaza Strip.
The crossing was first re-opened on Saturday allowing a total of 2,992 people to cross between Egypt and Gaza over the past three days.
As many as 123 shipments of construction materials offered by Qatar have also been delivered to the Strip in contribution to the building process there.
About 300 kilograms of medicines and medical aid offered by France have also been delivered to Gazans.
The Rafah terminal had been closed following the Karm el Qawadis incident on October 24, 2014.
It has since been exceptionally re-opened every now and then to allow stranded Palestinians into either side of the crossing and to deliver aid.
