The Director of the Actors Union in Egypt Ashraf Abdul Ghafour said that the union, together with the co-operation of the Filmmakers Union, are preparing to hold a memorial ceremony for the late actor Youssef Dawoud, in his home city of Alexandria. Ashraf Abdel Ghafour told Arabstoday: “We are preparing to invite a large number of artists who were close to the late Youssef Dawoud, and who worked with him over the years led by Adel Imam and actress Yosra. Youssef Dawoud died a few days ago of a heart attack. He claimed that the Actors' Union neglected him when he was sick.
