Ahmed Helmy respects criticism

The Egyptian comedy star Ahmed Helmy told Arabstoday that he is not worried by the criticism he has received on his series Helmy Online, currently showing on Yahoo! Maktoob channel. He pointed out that the series, like any other artistic work could receive criticism and appraisal. In remarks to Arabstoday Helmy said: “I personally enjoyed that experience and like the idea of the series.It was a new experience for me.” “I heard some of the criticism, I certainly respect it and it doesn’t bother me at all,” Helmy added. Helmy’s new film Over My Dead Body, in which he co-starred alongside actress Ghada Adel will be released at the beginning of the New Year.
