Egyptian actor Ahmed Safwat said he is still unsure when his new television series "Kika Aal Aly" will be aired. The show was postponed since Ramadan. Safwat plays a young man named Zein. Poor and unemployed, Zein starts to deal in scrap until he becomes a millionaire. He faces a number of difficulties on his way to the top as the series explores the lives of those living in poverty, their ambitions and the methods with which they try to achieve them, be they legitimate or otherwise. In an exclusive interview with Arabstoday, Safwat said he is reading scripts but has not made any commitments to a new project yet. The series also stars Salah Abdullah, Dina, Aiten Amer, Sabry Fawaz, Salah Rashwan, Hadi al-Gayar and Mohammed Abudawood. It is written by Hossam Moussa and directed by Nader Galal.
