The Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama denied to Arabstoday the information published in one of the Lebanese websites stating that "he lent the former Lebanese PM, Saad Hariri, an amount of money considered as a debt". The singer pointed out that "this information is fabricated and not true" adding that someone used their extreme imagination when writing this. He mentioned that his lawyer will act clearly against this news, which he considered disturbing as his name was being mixed with Hariri over a rumour in order to stimulate his fans. Alama expressed his sorrow for this shallow attitude in dealing with him, mentioning that there are several non-favourable goals that lie behind this gradually developed story.
