Amanda Seyfried and Cara Delevingne have joined the cast of Pan. The new film is based on the character Peter Pan, and is directed by Joe Wright (Atonement). Delevingne previously worked with Wright on his 2012 adaptation of Anna Karenina, and will receive a small part in Pan. Seyfried will star as the character Mary. The revisionist adaptation is said to be a dark origin story that follows the orphan Peter (Levi Miller) after he is spirited away to Neverland. Peter Pan was originally a character created by Scottish author J.M. Barrie in 1902. Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Rooney Mara also star as Blackbeard, Hook and Tiger Lily, respectively. Production begins April 28. Pan is scheduled for theatrical release on July 17, 2015. Source: UPI
