Egyptian musician and actor Moustafa Amar has expressed his frustration after the release of his latest album was postponed for a second time. Metamen ??(Reassured) was expected to go on sale on Eid al-Fitr. Amar told Arab Today: "The delay is not down to me, and I also cannot blame the ?production company. The album is good to go, but we are just waiting for the political situation in Egypt to calm down." The singer emphasised the importance of launching the album at the right time. "This is my first non-religious album in four years, so there is some expectation from my fans. I don't want the album release to be influenced by political events in the country." Amar's last album, released at the start of 2013, was a collection of religious songs and prayers.
