
The 47th Berlinale Forum, which will take place from 9-19 February 2017 as part of the 67th Berlinale, has selected Jassad Gharib (Foreign Body) feature film by Raja Amari to be screened within this year's program.
The 47th Berlinale Forum is showing 43 films in its main program, 29 of which as world premieres and 10 as international premieres. This year’s program shines a light on the sheer wealth of forms employed by the documentary, including films from Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.
The film producer Dora Bouchoucha said after the private screening of Jassad Gharib in the French Institute in Tunisia, that this film (lasts for an hour and 32 minutes) will be screened in Tunisia in February 2017, noting that the world premiere of the film was on 8 September 2016, at the international film festival in Toronto, Canada.
Jassad Gharib discusses the incidents of 14 January 2011 and their repercussions and social impact on the Tunisian situation.
