Billy Joel to perform on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve

US rock 'n' roll icon Billy Joel has been booked to perform on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" program, ABC announced Monday. The "Piano Man" and "New York State of Mind" singer will appear in a special live performance from Barclay's Center in Brooklyn. Joel will perform one of his classic hits as the first song of 2014, the television network said. Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy are to serve as hosts of the broadcast live from Times Square in Manhattan. Pop star Fergie will preside over segments of the show from Los Angeles. Source: UPI
