Pop star Cee Lo Green is pitching his new reality television series starring himself. Green made the rounds at the Television Critics Association tour of Los Angeles this week to promote "Cee Lo's Goodie Life," a TBS series featuring himself and the members of his hip-hop group Goodie Mob. "Goodie Life" expands Green's television presence beyond his current role as a coach on NBC's "The Voice," but won't be standard reality TV fare, he told the critics. "I think I've established quite a bit of mystique," Green said. "I am ambiguous and elusive and very artful in my approach to expressing myself." Green said his new show drew inspiration from HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and would focus on the lighter side of Goodie Mob's hip-hop world, The Hollywood Reporter said Saturday. "A lot of the time the music that we've done and the albums that we've released have had serious overtones of social politics and commentary, so I think it would do our audience a great [service] to see us unplugged," Green said.
