
Iraqi singer Claudia Hanna told Arab Today that she participated in the June 30 protests in ?solidarity with Egyptian people. "Having freedom is not easy" the singer said, "And the Egyptian people deserve to ?enjoy the democracy they have been deprived from for years." Claudia added: “Some may be surprised about my participation in the Tamarod movement protest as I am Iraqi. My desire is to help change the ?sour reality in Egypt. I consider Egypt my second country which has given me a lot and has been a core reason behind my success and ?fame. I hope it overcomes the crisis and reaches safety.”? Claudia is currently working on her new album with which she will return to the music scene with after an absence since her first album Al Waqt Da (This Time) two years ago.
