Egyptian actress Ola Ghanem said that she didn't seek to steal the show in her new film "Christmas". In making the movie, due to be released in the New Year, she claims she was much more interested in the quality of the role and its impact on the audience. Ola told Arabstoday that she had underestimated the importance of the role she was to play, and didn’t expect to gain such admiration from audiences. Ghanem explained: "I eagerly await the release of the new film Christmas, in which I play a very different character to my usual. I play the role of a very pretty and poor employee. Her ambitions drive her to manipulate a number of businessmen. After that she could become a businesswoman, but there is a twist in the plot and events take a dramatic turn.” The movie was written by Sameh Abu Alghar and directed by Mohamed Hamdi. Ola co-stars alongside Sami Al-Adel and Rami Waheed.
