Egyptian actor Ahmed El-Sakka has quashed rumours that the cast in his first film, Al-Jazeera, have refused to work in the sequel. Speaking to Arabstoday, Sakka revealed that Al-Jazeera 2 is still a long way away from production with a writers currently working on the script. "All the stars of the original Al-Jazeera have asked me to keep them informed about plans to produce a sequel. "We are still writing the second part, and there will be some new actors in the movie too," the actor explained. The first part of Al-Jazeera starred Mahmoud Yassin, Hend Sabry, Ziena,Khaled El-Sawy and Mahomoud Abd-Elmoghni. The movie was written by Mohammed Diab, and directed by Shrief Arafa.
