Moroccan singer Samira Said has told Arab Today that she has postponed work on her new album until after the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan. "I stopped working on my album a few weeks ago, to take a break, and observe the month of Ramadan," she said. The singer explained that she has completed 60 percent of her album, and is hopeful of adding a few more new songs to the track list. "I still have about 40 percent to do, which gives me a chance to provide something different to the audience. That's why I wanted to take a long break, to sit back and look at the bigger picture," she added. Said predicted that the album is likely to be released at the beginning of 2014. Her last album, Ayam Hayati (Days Of My Life) featured 13 songs, and went on sale in 2008.
