Egyptian actor Mahmoud Yassin says he is heartbroken by the recent escalation in violence across the country, since the dispersal of Muslim Brotherhood sit-ins by security forces in Cairo. "It hurts me to see state institutions on fire. Everyone in Egypt should bear responsibility to protect the country, and the lives of those who pushed for the great revolution on June 30." Yassin said that God would protect Egypt, adding that those destroying the nation would be held to account. The Egyptian superstar recently took part in A Point Of Light, an Islamic radio programme which he co-hosted during the holy month of Ramadan.
